The following profile was published in Country Music Capital News, January 2003 issue and is reproduced here by courtesy of Capital News, Rural Press.

1. Can you remember how much was in your first pay packet and what you spent it on?
$26 for my first gig. I saved up for some boots.

2. What was your first job on leaving school?
On weekends I played gigs and through the week I'd work in my dad's workshop.

3. What is the worst job or task you've had to do?
Stripping back our piano and painting it.

4. What type of car did you learn to drive in and what are you driving at the moment?
In my sister's Peugeot. I now have a Subaru.

5. You're on a long flight, who would you most like to sit next to and why?
My partner or family member so I can swap food with them or sleep with my mouth open without fear.

6. Supppose for the moment you've decided to change careers - what would you most likely choose?
Today I would say a gardener. Growing up I wanted to be an upholsterer like my dad.

7. There's some superb talent looking down on us, who would you choose to bring back to perform a duet with?
I'd have to say Patsy Cline.

8. You're a lady full of surprises, do you have any hidden talents you'd like to share with us?
Do you know I can juggle?

9. Life on the go can be tough and tiring, how do you stay motivated?
By other motivated people I work with and admire.

10. Having seen you work, have to ask, what do you do to stay in such great shape?
I love food. I eat everything in moderation. I go walking, and play tennis when I'm home.

11. Jazz being one of your strengths, who influenced you to direct some of your skill in this direction?
My dad really, he likes the classics. I don't understand heavy jazz but I do appreciate great artists like Ella, her voice is amazing.

12. Rebecca and Mark are coming over for Sunday lunch, what are you going to cook for them?
Sunday lunch in summer would be a barbie. Winter would be more like pumpkin soup with chicken and sweet potato risotto as a main.

13. Actually what is your favourite food?
There's so much! Thai food, mangoes, ice cream, dad's tomato chutney, mum's baked dinners, Barry's banana cake, Frankie T's relish and Gus' hot sauce & oysters kilpatrick.

14. Time to sit back, put your feet up and grab a book, what was it's title?
Not much of a bookworm. I enjoyed reading 'Patsy' - the life story of Patsy Cline.

15. Of all the places you've been to what has been your favourite?
Bali. It's beautiful.

16. Songwriting is your passion - but when was the last time you sat down and wrote a letter?
I email a lot these days, it seems most people do. I think I owe my nan a letter, she's probably the one person who does send mail to me in an envelope.

17. You have an invitation to see a movie, your choice would be?
I can't wait to see Lord of the Rings "Twin Towers".

18. What is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to you?
Pulling 20 fish in the boat one after the next. It was the biggest catch I've ever had!

19. You've just moved to the Central Coast which perhaps answers the question, but where would you like to finally build a home and settle down?
I've always loved Sawtell, small and coastal, not far from Tamworth. The idea of living in North Queensland, Cairns has always been a dream but it's so far from everything!

20. Finally, and thank you for your time, what do you consider to be your biggest weakness?
Decision making.
